Kim is an energetic and authentic nonprofit executive with over 25 years of advancement leadership across the social services, arts, public media, higher education, and the 501(c)(3) landscape—having raised more than $250 million for mission-driven organizations.
As the founder of Getting to the Yes, Kim equips fundraisers and organizations (and even parents and couples!) with the strategy, confidence, and tools to turn uncertainty into action—and “maybe” into meaningful support.
Known for building trust and delivering results, she excels at uniting internal and external stakeholders around bold ideas and innovative approaches. Whether leading transformational capital campaigns, launching major giving programs, navigating PR crises, or championing legislative advocacy, Kim brings heart, strategy, and clarity to every challenge.
She’s a coach, mentor, trainer, lecturer, and published author, with a passion for empowering others to dream bigger—because everything really is “figureoutable”.
Kim’s husband and daughter describe her as being filled with excessive wanderlust, always on the hunt for the family’s next adventure, whether in her RV named “Backwoods Boujee: On The Road” or traveling the world by plane, train, or the occasional cruise ship.
